What Working Together can Look like
-
Whether you’re feeling unsure or ready, you can start by sending a message or scheduling a consultation. This first step is courageous, and you don’t have to take it alone.
-
We'll meet in a space designed to feel safe and supportive. This session is a chance to get to know one another, explore what’s bringing you in, and decide together on next steps. Clients typically report feeling immense relief when the session is scheduled and when we can start to map out our work and plan together.
-
Each session is guided by your needs, your pace, and your goals. We’ll explore thoughts, emotions, experiences, and patterns—always with curiosity and care.
-
With insight and support, therapy can help you to feel more connected, confident, and at ease within your relationships and in day-to-day life.
-
Therapy isn’t about changing who you are—it’s about coming home to yourself. You get to define what healing, growth, and authenticity look like for you.
Where does the name Jay Counseling come from?
JAY Counseling was inspired by my maiden name and the symbolism of the blue jay bird. Blue jays are known to represent resilience, communication, and perseverance during difficult times: elements i not only believe to be valuable but also integral to the therapeutic journey.
Interpersonally, blue jays can symbolize connection, loyalty and strong family bonds, which align with my belief in the importance of community. We aren't meant to do life alone, and we all deserve spaces where we feel confident, supported, safe, and authentically ourselves!
