About Jennifer

Jennifer Haire, LCSW

Welcome! I am so honored you’re here. My name is Jennifer Haire, and I am a licensed clinical Social worker.

I know that Life can feel overwhelming at times, and taking the first step towards therapy can feel simultaneously vulnerable and hopeful. We are usually reaching out for support when we need it most, and it can be an extremely delicate time. Despite any fears, the thought of receiving support and feeling less alone can be relieving.

I aim to provide you with a warm and safe environment where you feel supported as you explore your current and past experiences. Together, we will work as a team to explore what’s bringing you to therapy now, and any goals you may have.

Educational Background

I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Emory university and my master’s degree in social work from the university of Georgia.

Populations Served

I primarily work with adults who are coping with anxiety, substance use, life transitions, depression, ocd, or seeking deeper self-awareness and balance. I also work with mothers who are navigating parenthood and identity, as well as couples who are seeking to resolve conflict, improve communication, and reconnect by increasing friendship and intimacy.

Modalities Utilized

With a compassionate, strengths-based approach, I combine cognitive-behavioral, dialectic, and motivational therapies to help you highlight your strengths and create a path forward that feels genuine and empowering.

I tend to use an “eclectic” approach in my sessions, meaning employing techniques from multiple theories, depending on your presenting concerns and individual needs.

I have completed level 1 training in gottman method couples therapy, and I use gottman method couples therapy in my work with couples.

Personal Note

When I’m not in session, you can find me going on quiet walks, making coffee, and spending time with my spouse, son, and our four pets.
